About Orbel Care

Orbel Care was born from a simple but powerful idea shared by three Registered Nurses: that every person deserves care that is clinically sound and filled with compassion, dignity, and genuine human connection.

After years working across hospitals, aged care, and community health, we often found ourselves thinking, “There has to be a better way to support people living with disability.” We saw the gaps—where care felt rushed, impersonal, or inconsistent—and we knew we could create something different. Something better.

So we started Orbel Care.

We wanted to build a service where participants feel truly seen, heard, and valued, where nurses take the time to listen, where care is tailored to each individual—not just their diagnosis—and where families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are being supported by people who truly care.

We’re not a big agency. We’re a close-knit team that leads with heart, backed by deep clinical knowledge and a hands-on, people-first approach. We’ve cared for people in their most vulnerable moments, and we bring that same sensitivity and respect to every home we enter.

Whether it’s wound care, medication support, continence management, or just a friendly face to brighten someone’s day — we’re here because we love what we do.

Our Values at Orbel Care

1. Compassion

We lead with empathy, kindness, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. Compassion is at the heart of every interaction, guiding how we care, listen, and respond.

2. Dignity and Respect

We honour the rights, choices, and voices of every participant. We treat each person with the same respect we would want for our own loved ones.

3. Integrity

We are honest, transparent, and dependable. Our participants and their families can count on us to do what’s right, every time.

4. Excellence in Care

As experienced nurses, we are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based support with professionalism and skill. We never stop learning and improving.

5. Personalised Connection

We believe care is most effective when it’s personal. We take the time to truly get to know our participants, building trusting relationships and support plans that reflect who they are.
